Bio:

Zhan Li is an associate professor in the School of Journalism & Communication at Xiamen University of China. Besides her PhD dissertation that evaluates media performance in covering global warming in terms of source and content diversity with taking deliberative democracy as the theoretical framework, she is interested in exploring how the media frame climate change as scientific and political discourse, and the role of the media in facilitating the public understanding of the issue.
