Jennifer Laszlo Mizrahi, co-founder of the Mizrahi Family Charitable Fund and a climate columnist for Times of Israel, is an award-winning nonprofit leader. An expert in strategic communications, advocacy, and public policy, she has worked on winning campaigns and successful efforts with presidents, prime ministers, 48 governors, 85 Ambassadors, and leaders at all levels. Her work has been profiled in the Chronicle of Philanthropy, Inside Philanthropy, PBS NewsHour, Washington Post, Jerusalem Post, Jewish Sages of Today, and numerous other outlets.
Mizrahi has published more than 300 articles on politics, public policy, disability issues, climate and innovations. Her publications include Disability and Criminal Justice Reform: Keys to Success; Disability in Philanthropy & Nonprofits; A Primer on Making the Jewish Community Inclusive and testimony on education and employment in every state and at the Federal level. She has recently started writing a column on climate issues and innovations for The Times of Israel.
The Jewish Forward has named Mizrahi as one of the 50 most influential Jews in North America three times, each time for a different body of work. Mizrahi, who is dyslexic, is a lifelong learner. She has certificates in climate policy, nonprofit leadership, and performance metrics from Harvard and has completed executive education at Georgetown’s Business School. She has degrees in Judaic Studies and International Studies from Emory University. She also studied at Hebrew University in Jerusalem as well as at L’Institut Catholique de Paris. She regularly attends conferences and webinars to get new insights.
Mizrahi is deeply passionate about enabling the press and policy makers to have the facts and information they need to create and implement climate solutions. As a philanthropist, each year she leads her family’s efforts to support dozens of innovative and effective nonprofit organizations. A proud parent, her favorite activity is to spend time with loved ones.
