John Steponick is a current graduate student pursuing an M.S. in Disaster Science and Management at the University of Delaware. He is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University, earning a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences with a minor in Environmental Science. John has prior internship experiences at the Ohio Department of Transportation's Office of Environmental Services in Columbus, Ohio, as well as the Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, Florida as an NSF-funded REU intern. He has always had a strong interest in environmental protection, but he plans on pursuing a career in urban climate adaptation and resilience planning after he earns his graduate degree. John is also a lifelong hockey player and passionate karaoke enthusiast.
