James O’Hara (Jimmy) is a senior at George Mason University studying communication with a concentration in journalism and minoring in earth science. Graduating in May 2019, he aims to pursue a career as a science journalist and communicator.  His career goal is to create written and multimedia content for National Geographic. This summer, beyond contributing to his team’s educational video products, Jimmy created additional written content for the Manassas National Battlefield Park website. Among his extracurricular involvements are working as a resident advisor, serving as managing editor for GMU’s research journal The George Mason Review, and working as a web content developer for GMU’s Honors College.  In his free time, Jimmy works as an event promoter, using social media platforms to advertise upcoming concerts in the DMV area.
