David Sleeth-Keppler is an associate professor of sustainable marketing at Humboldt State University (a California State University) and Senior Consultant at Strategic Business Insights, where he supports commercial, non-profit and government research, strategy, and communication projects with social science insights. Much of his focus in recent years has been on finding ways to engage more Americans with solutions to climate change. His academic work, published in Environmental Communication, Psychological Science, the Journal of Consumer Psychology, and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, contributes to understanding the processes whereby people form judgments. He received his PhD in social psychology from the University of Maryland in 2004 and spent 2 years as a post-doctoral fellow at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
