Eryn Campbell

Eryn Campbell is a doctoral student and a Presidential Scholar in the Department of Communication. Her research interests broadly include the importance of climate change as a voting issue, media and social influences on public perceptions of climate change, and the role of communication in bridging the knowledge gap between science and the public. Currently, she is working as a research assistant at 4C and is involved with several projects, including Climate Matters in the Newsroom. She also serves as the Project Manager of the Climate Change Communication Internship program—a partnership between 4C and the National Park Service. Prior to attending George Mason University, Eryn received her master’s degree from the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science in Climate Science and Society and her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Environmental Science.
