Neil Stenhouse

Neil Stenhouse is an assistant professor in the Department of Life Sciences Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His teaching responsibilities include courses in research methods and strategic communication campaigns.
His research program focuses on the intersection of science communication and the politics of scientific issues, especially energy development and climate change. Specifically, Stenhouse is interested in testing whether insights from research on political mobilization, social movements, and other forms of civic engagement can help increase and diversify citizen participation in scientific issues, as well as helping groups that are already active work together better.
